Summer Season Guided Tours of the Stanley Home Museum

Dates: May 1st – September 30th

Time: 10am, 12pm, & 2pm Tuesday-Saturday; 12pm & 2pm Sunday

Admission: $25 for Adults; $15 for Seniors, Military (with an ID), and Youth 8-18; Free for Youth younger than 8 years

Experience the charm and history of the Stanley Home Museum through our engaging guided tours. Nestled in the scenic town of Estes Park, this beautifully preserved early 20th-century estate offers a glimpse into the life of F.O. Stanley, the inventor and entrepreneur, and his wife, Flora. Each guided tour is led by knowledgeable docents who bring to life the Stanleys’ contributions to the area and their innovative spirit.

Winter Season Guided Tours of the Stanley Home Museum

Time: By appointment only, please call (970) 235-0062 if you would like to set up a tour.

Upcoming Events

2026 Celebration Gala

Date: Saturday, June 13th

Time: Doors at 5:30pm

Admission: $150 per guest, $1,500 per table 

Location: YMCA of the Rockies – Assembly Hall

Celebrate with us this year at our annual fundraising gala. This year we will be celebrating with live music by Buster & Boomers, dancing, a buffet dinner, and both silent and live auction items. This event will be held in the YMCA of the Rockies Assembly hall. Dress code is Black Tie or Blue Jeans.

Vino on the Veranda - An Evening with Flora Stanley

Date: Friday, July 10th

Time: 6:00-8:00pm

Admission: $25 per guest

Location: The Stanley Home Museum, 415 W Wonderview Ave, Estes Park

The summer season begins on Friday, July 10, with the popular Vino on the Veranda series featuring Flora Stanley, portrayed by noted historical interpreter Terri Johnson.

Guests will enjoy wine, light refreshments, and an intimate evening on the Stanley Home’s historic veranda while learning about Flora Stanley’s extraordinary life as a gifted musician, philanthropist, community leader, and partner to inventor F.O. Stanley. Through Johnson’s captivating first-person portrayal, Flora’s remarkable story comes alive in the very home she helped create more than a century ago.

Space is limited so purchase your tickets early.

Parking will be available at the museum.

Youth History Camp

Date: Wednesday, July 22nd – Saturday, July 25th

Time: 9:00am-12:00pm

Admission: $50 per guest

Location: The Stanley Home Museum, 415 W Wonderview Ave, Estes Park

July 22-24 9:00 am – 12:00 noon July 25 9:00 am – 11:00 am with a family/community Ice Cream Social ending the camp until 1:00 pm.

The Stanley Home Museum and Education Center is excited to announce its inaugural History Camp, a four-day immersive summer experience for students entering 4th through 8th grades. The camp will take place July 22–25, 9:00 am- 12:00 noon, and will bring history to life through hands-on activities, field trips, and interactive learning centered on the remarkable legacy of F.O. and Flora Stanley.

Designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and character, the camp will explore the four qualities that made the Stanleys successful and influential figures in American historyVisionary, Inventive, Persistent, and Generous. Through engaging lessons and adventures, participants will discover how these traits helped shape Estes Park and continue to influence the community today. Campers will enjoy an exciting lineup of activities, including, but not limited to:

  • A field trip to the local hydro-electric plant to learn about innovation and renewable energy.
  • A visit to the Stanley Hotel to explore the Stanleys’ entrepreneurial vision and lasting impact.
  • A field trip to Rocky Mountain National Park to discover the natural beauty that inspired the Stanleys and generations of visitors.
  • Hands-on lessons about early road building and transportation in the Estes Valley.
  • Interactive experiences that demonstrate household chores and daily life at the turn of the twentieth century.
  • Special appearances by historic characters who will share stories from the past.
  • Games, crafts, challenges, and many additional surprises throughout the week.
  • Camp closes with a family and community Ice Cream Social!!!!!

Vino on the Veranda

Date: Friday, August 7th

Please join us for a delightful evening of wine, hors d’oeuvres, friends, and history on the charming Stanley Home veranda. Take in the gorgeous views, and hear from our knowledgeable docents about the Stanleys and their home.
